WWA Summer Picnic, 2020
The WWA crew had a wonderful socially distanced summer picnic in Washington park this year! It was so nice to see and interact with one another, as well as enjoy wonderful food and conversation! We look forward to the return of more social gatherings and events when it is safer to plan and participate in them!

WWA Holiday Dinner, 2019
Happy Birthday, Bill!
2019
The team went to the Multnomah Whisk(e)y Library to celebrate Bill's birthday, we all had a wonderful time!
The celebration had to be postponed a few weeks but it was well worth the wait to be able to celebrate properly! Beforehand, we gave Bill a hand-crafted sign of the WWA logo to hang in the office, we are happy to say he loved it!

WWA Summer Picnic, 2019
The annual William Wilson Architects Summer Picnic, 2019 was quite a success! Delicious food and drinks were rivaled only by the first-rate company! Bill is always such a gracious host!
Our shady picnic spot made for lovely summer weather! Grill Masters Anna and Steve kept everyone fed while the delightful fur babies kept everyone entertained! |
Wilson Participates in National Design Assistance Convening
The American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Regional and Urban Design Assistance Team (R/UDAT) program is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. During the past half-century, the program has worked in over 150 communities, and has produced a family of related efforts that have spread all over the world.
One of this year’s initiatives was a convening of 12 select former Design Assistance Team communities at the AIA National Convention in Philadelphia. Bill Wilson, co-chair of the 1983 Portland R/UDAT, which investigated the NW Portland industrial, warehouse, rail yard district, represented Portland at the convening and presented the Portland R/UDAT study and the neighborhood’s transformation into what is now the Pearl District.
